AzPPO Fund Raising Events

AzPPO conducts a number of different activities throughout the year to raise funds and bring awareness to various causes and issues.

Our annual Bugs n' Balls Golf Tournament, usually conducted in late spring or early summer supports our legislative activities. While this event provides the majority of funding for our lobbyist, we need to supplement with contributions from our industry members. Pest Professionals also care greatly about the communities in which they conduct business. Our "Pest Professionals Who Care" committee conducts various fundraising activities that provide opportunities to our membership to "pay it forward".  A percentage of funds raised are donated to worthy causes in our state.

Charities that have been selected to receive benefits include:

• Ronald McDonald House
• Boy Scouts
• Families of the Granite Mountain Hot Shot through the Phoenix 100 Club
• Wounded Warrior Project
• UMOM

In addition to these charities, a percentage is also donated to the Jack Root Scholarship Fund, which will provide scholarships to college students who plan to enter the field.
